Do you have a retail store?

French Furniture Sydney does not operate a retail Store. In order to keep prices as low as possible we operate from a warehouse in the Ultimo Trade Centre in Sydney which is not open to the public, except by an arranged time.

Our business has always been tailored to designers and trade and we have only just commenced offering our furniture to the public.

How do I purchase the furniture ?

You are able to purchase directly via our on line store, however if you prefer to view the item and touch and feel our furniture prior to purchasing, we encourage you to contact us to arrange a visit to our warehouse and meet one of our friendly staff.

Please note, as with designers and trade customers we also need to know when you wish to visit.  Therefore please contact us to arrange a time you wish to visit our warehouse .

HOW & WHEN DO I PAY FOR DELIVERY?

Delivery of your items (freight) is NOT included in the item sale price or at checkout. Delivery of your items is paid for separately after you have purchased your items. Please refer to the freight page for local delivery prices. 

We suggest that after you have purchased your item, you contact us to arrange the delivery to your home at a convenient time/day that is suitable. Payment for delivery can be arranged at this time too. We take all forms of payment. 

How do you deliver the furniture if we choose to purchase on line ?

Local Sydney Deliveries.
After you have purchased furniture items on-line, we recommend that you contact us in order to discuss delivery options.

If you have any questions prior to purchasing on-line, we would be more than happy to answer your questions. 

Delivery is an additional charge to the buyer and the cost naturally varies depending on the size of your item and your location. (see Freight page for local delivery costs)

Interstate or Country Deliveries.
We do not deliver to country or interstate areas outside Sydney, however we can help organise independent interstate movers for you. Or you can organise your own. If you have any questions regarding interstate or country deliveries, please feel free to contact us for more information. 

Note - Smaller items can sometimes be delivered flat-pack. If you are happy to receive items wrapped in a flat packed state we may be able to arrange a local one-man courier or taxi truck service. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding any furniture delivery options orprices. 

All our carriers are independent and professional. 

Personal Pick-up.
Our friendly staff are happy to help load furniture on your own vehicle if you choose to pick up.

If I choose to visit the warehouse, can I purchase an item and take it away with me ?

Yes absolutely !   We always put one of every item on display and are happy to sell any display items.  Our friendly staff are happy to help you load an item in your car, ute or truck. Please remember to bring your own blankets for protection & strapping if required. Remember to email us or call us prior to pick up to arrange a pick up time so your item can be ready for dispatch. 

Are any of your furniture items able to be flat packed for ease of transportation ?

Yes ! Most of our smaller items are designed for disassembling the legs, and if you wish to pick up we can disassemble on the spot in order to load it in your car. 

Re-assembling the legs in your home is easy and will take you less than 10 minutes. (we provide simple assembly instructions).

Is all your stock as shown on the web site immediately available ?

Yes ! If it is on our web site with a price, it is immediately available.  If we have sold out of an item be it temporarily or permanently,  we will remove it from our web site once the last available one is sold. 

However, if you are considering purchasing multiple items such as sets of chairs, please contact us prior to placing your order so that we can ensure we have availability of the numbers you require.

 

Are all your discounted prices clearly shown on the Web Site.

Yes! The discount prices that are shown on the web site are accurate.

Do you ever sell damaged items at lower prices than your advertised discounts ?

Yes ! Occasionally we will display certain photographed items on our website which are labelled as being slightly flawed or damaged.

Those items will therefore be even lower priced than the identical item in perfect condition.

What warranty do you offer on your products ?

We sell new furniture, old furniture and Antique Furniture so please contact us to discuss warranty across our ranges.

Where is your warehouse located ?

Our despatch warehouse is conveniently located right in the heart of Sydney in the Ultimo Trade Centre, 39 Jones St Ultimo.

For pick ups and/or viewing by arrangement, please contact us at least 24 hours prior.
